~ I was tricked by my mom~
I happily agreed to mom's suggestion for a full body massage on Friday morning. But my anticipation was shattered (*ping piang*) into pieces when I stepped into the "supposedly massage therapy clinic." It has Chinese printings all over the window panes and the place was filled with the smell of bitter Chinese herbs. And, it was also packed with old grandmas and grandpas. This place is a Chinese "tui na" clinic. I knew I was tricked by my mom at that moment. *_* She went straight to the Chinese doctor to tell him that I have a chronic back pain.
So out of nowhere, I was unwillingly dragged for a electric acupuncture. And one of the things I feared most is needles. *_* Even at the age of 23, I will still shamelessly tell u guys that I cry over shots. All the rooms in the clinic were filled so I had to sit at a corridor with 8 needles cruelly stabbed into my arms, shoulder and neck. My ears and hair itched painfully but I dared not move because with every little movement, I felt the needles inched deeper into my flesh until it came into contact with my joints.
Not only was I going through a 30 mins of physical torture, I was also going insane with my wild uncontrollable imagination. I was freaking out. What if all those old people that walk along the corridor lose their balances and fall on top of me? All the needles will then be stabbed deep into my flesh, giving me a hemorrhage. I was even more disturbed when a granny laughed at me and said..." lao de bu xin, nian qing de ye but xin ah." *fainted*
30 mins of excruciating pain was finally over. The doctor came, pluck out all the needles and told me to go to the other room down the street. I was so tempted to yell "NO" and scramble my feet out of the horrible place. But to save my dignity, I decided not to let those old people witness my little escapade.
Filled with agony, I walked over to the other building......and as I opened the door, I was welcomed by a pretty young lady, pink flowery wallpaper and decorated curtains. THIS is what I was talking bout. And it was then I was treated with my well-deserved massage. *_*
